Designed for the professional workshop, the Jet 354169 JDP-17MF can handle bits up to 5/8 of an inch, with a speed range of 200 to 3,630 rpm driven by a powerful 3/4-horsepower induction motor. The drill press can be powered by either 115-volt or 230-volt sources, providing versatility for various workshop setups.
The large 13-3/4-inch worktable glides effortlessly with rack-and-pinion adjustment and tilts up to 45 degrees in either direction, allowing users to adapt the workspace to their specific needs. A hinged metal belt-and-pulley cover provides easy access to the motor mount, enabling quick spindle speed changes.
To ensure comfort and safety, the Jet 354169 JDP-17MF offers adjustable tension on the spindle return spring and the ability to lock out the start button, protecting others when the user is away. The table's X-pattern mounting grooves also allow for the installation of a fence when the table is in the reverse position. A built-in work light (bulb not included) provides additional visibility for the work area.
